STORY
As we celebrate 15 years of the American Netball Team’s® growth, global achievements, and the countless opportunities created along the way, we reflect on how this journey became a defining chapter in American Netball history. For the first time in the USA’s 40+ year history of having Netball played here, a team made up entirely of American citizens stepped onto the global stage at the World University Netball Championships, marking a milestone moment for the sport in the United States, all thanks to the hard work by Netball America®.
We are proud to reignite the USA University Netball Program—building on a legacy where the USA Women’s University Netball Team proudly earned a world university ranking of #6 and establishing a strong foundation for elite athlete development.

Hugely successful in their Netball careers, these ambassadors are powerful role models who are passionate about inspiring and empowering the next generation of players
Sigi Burger has built an exceptional Netball career at the highest level of the sport, representing South Africa on the international stage and competing for leading Netball Super League franchises including Surrey Storm, London Pulse, Severn Stars and Birmingham Panthers.
Driven by a deep passion for growing the game, Sigi is committed to growing the sport in universities across the USA, both on and off the court. Discover her inspiring perspective on this exciting initiative and the impact it can have on the next generation.

Gretel Bueta is an international Netball icon whose distinguished career has seen her represent Australia at the highest level for many years. A standout performer in the Suncorp SN league, she has starred for clubs the NSW Swifts and Queensland Firebirds, and continues to make her mark on the global stage through her success in Malaysia.
With an impressive collection of sporting achievements to her name, she has earned widespread respect for her skill, determination, and leadership. Now a proud mother of three, Gretel remains deeply committed to growing the game of Netball, being strong advocate for netball’s development worldwide and inspiring the next generation of athletes.

Amara graduated from Columbia University in NYC, where she played Division 1 College basketball. She holds a bachelor's in
pre-medicine and psychology and a Master's in Sports Management. Amara is currently studying dentistry at Kansas City University.
Selection to the USA Women's University Netball team to represent the USA in 2016 and 2018 on the international stage at the World University Netball Championships is certainly Amara's Netball highlights.
This has taken Amara on to further heights by being the first Netball paid ambassador by TrueSport - an arm of the USA
Anti-Doping Authority. This put Amara beside Olympians from other sports to travel the country and help kids thrive through sport, education and nutrition lessons.

COMMITEE
Our committee members have all come to Netball through different paths but converge on advancing the growth of netball across USA universities and building a thriving collegiate network that attracts, develops, and inspires athletes from around the globe.
KATE STOREY
Program Chair
Kate built a successful career in international events, sponsorship and fundraising between Australia, the USA and United Kingdom. In London, Kate has been the Chair of the King’s Trust Invest in Futures gala and Allergy Research Fundraising for the Evelina Children’s Hospital. Kate is currently Chair of AllChild’s Business Development Board.
Lynnette perry
Team Manager
Lynnette has built a career spanning technology, financial services and the charitable sector, moving between the US and UK. Beginning in investment banking technology development, she went on to lead global teams supporting front-office operations across international markets.
eliza morgan
Head Coach
With more than 20 years of Netball experience and over a decade in high-performance coaching, Eliza currently serves as Pathway Head Coach for one of the UK's leading professional clubs, and has held leadership roles within England Netball pathway system.
